Name: Mr. Pepper and Ms. Goji
Meaning
Cheongyang-gun County’s mascot, Mr. Pepper and Ms. Goji, are designed after the County’s renown regional specialty crop, pepper and goji berries, with a simple and friendly twist to raise visibility and appeal to modern audiences. Their names were also fittingly changed to raise coherence and use. The county’s new mascots will be used for administrative purposes as well as in a wide variety of fields to hopefully enhance Cheongyang County’s public image.
